Very interesting to hear about changes coming to the Lakeview branch. Thanks to all who contributed.

From the website description above, the reload at Klamath Falls sounds to be on the BNSF, likly to allow them to have competitive rates to a larger market. Definitely not unheard of. Searles Valley Minerals (of Trona Railway fame) has a reload on the Rich Spur off the BNSF Mojave Sub just west of Boron, CA. While the majority of Searles Valley Minerals output goes out via the Trona Railway and UP, the reload on the Rich Spur is rather busy too.
