In the book The Modoc, Jack Bowden relates that there was a regular driver on that Greyhound Route that all the rails called TRIGGER !!! It seems that any trip with him behind the wheel was a real thrill ride. He was nice enough though, to drive right up to the yard office in Klamath Falls, saving crews a long cold walk from the bus depot in the winter.
