TSRR is doing better without the albatross of IPH. It's a hardy part of the State Parks System. But one problem is insolvable: it is in East Texas which is hot n humid and downright miserable for months on end. And there's not much else to lure the tourists to Rusk or Palestine.

That said, I'd sure like to see another Railfan Weekend at the TSRR.
