KING-TV ran ads for Northern Pacific and KOMO-TV ran ads for Great Northern.

I remember the ditty for NP as:

Northern Pacific, really terrific, Vista Dome North Coast Limited!

In all kinds of weather, as smooth as a feather, Vista Dome North Coast Limited!

Travel in a mansion on wheels, whatever the weather. Really terrific, Vista Dome North Coast limited!

The KOMO weatherman did a spiel including "Go Great, Go Great Northern"
