The two Columbia & Cowlitz C-415s (#701, built new for them, and #702, an ex-SP unit) worked a spell on the Port of Tillamook Bay RR, first in excursion service on the Oregon Coast Explorer, then on the Spirit of Oregon dinner train that operated out of Roy to Cochran.

When the Spirit of Oregon operation shut down, the Mount Hood RR purchased the rolling stock (both C-415s and four cars) and put them in service as the Mount Hood dinner train. The two locomotives didn't last long in Hood River, and were subsequently sold to the Burlington Junction RR in Burlington, Iowa, where they currently operate (apparently still in the color scheme they wore in dinner train service).
