Earlier this week there was a bit of interesting local news about those transplants and their spendy new condos on the riverfront where the Northwest Timber mill used to be at Gibbs. Seems a bunch of them want to install boat lifts, which will really add to the uglification, and sounds like they'll face an uphill battle over concerns of hydraulic fluid leaking into the river. Right about the museum. There will be little else left to remember the railroads that once brought CdA so much prosperity.
