1. I do not think that the administration of CSRM will not let it out of the building.
2. If they did, it would take about 5 mil to do it. It might be better to better to build a new copy instead of taking a priceless artifact out. You would not take the Spirit of Saint Louis out of the Smithsonian in DC to fly? No you build a copy.
3. As to the UP letting run, it has been said time and time again on this board and TO that there is no restrictions on a foreign steam on their rails. You might hav to run it under Amtrak insurance. 4449 has to run to the Portland depot on UP rails to get there.
As with all excursions, the host rail traffic dictates the access to the line and schedule.
