My $2 million estimate for the FRA Form 4 was based on Volunteer help. According to DEr. Bob Churches Cab Forward Book, class 3 repairs were made on #4294 in the early Spring of 1956. 2nd point, more importantly, Legendary "UP Joe" Passentino, Restoration Specialist for CSRM. Ken Yeo, CSRM Museum Restoration Supervisor and Bob Church himself did the sandblasting on the #4294 and were extremely careful in protecting all appliances and other areas from the sand blasting by using sheet metal to cover sensitive areas to prevent grime and sand from fouling these areas.
