10,000 daily trail users is double the projection of 5000 daily train rides [2500 round trips]. In Sonomarin, hundreds of millions spent on so few riders might make sense, but probably not here in shasta county.
Better get the cameras out for high speed shots of Cannondales, Treks, etc. on the bikepath and the occasional day passenger train or night freight. rh
