#14 hit a truck trailer at a private xing south of Salinas ( and just south of Spence Road) and ruptured fuel tank requiring hazmat cleanup. Train sat until nearly 4am with very unhappy px not allowed to get off, restroom problems, food issues. Both local tv stations covered it.
The annual harvest season ag equipment demolition derby has begun. Fortunately most all do not involve fatalities or injuries, just busted equipment but very inconvenienced px.
