When did Interbay Lumber quit using the railroad? I thought they were a fairly regular customer until the end.

In the early 1960's I remember walking the NWP ROW near Alto. There were still some longer ties left which had supported the electric third rail, and some ties still had spike holes from the inner rail for narrow gauge operation.

The NWP powerhouse at Alto was used as a pistol range by the Tamalpais Revolver Club. Their president was H.O. Peters, the NWP's Chief Special agent.
