Well, according to the news article, the BNSF employee IS an attorney ...

While Quanah Spencer may not be a BNSF 'headquarters' attorney, he clearly is an attorney, and he works for BNSF. I have every expectation that part of the reason that BNSF employs him is that he is an attorney, compensated accordingly, and presumably is expected to act professionally in representing BNSF in sensitive areas.

And, yet here he is entangled in a case involving counterfeiting a judge's order, and the lead detective in the case says ...

While this is all going on, BNSF is still paying for a very public PR campaign in the Spokane market area - see the BNSF banner ads in rotation on that same Spokesman-Review website.

The mucky-mucks can't be very pleased about BNSF getting dragged into this situation.
