And surely the clientele can't just be made up of the upper middle class well to do, there has to be a certain fairly good sized percentage of the lower classes, people who would also just ogle the equipment, static or otherwise (and probably the cute chicks, too, if any).

And why do the axed personnel "deserve" anything, they were canned just like the 3rd shift people at the Belvidere auto plant, or the 24,000 people soon to be let go by HP. Playing with steam trains makes them more valuable to the nation's economy than an assembly line worker?
