Sorry foamer, but I've got news for you... The big attraction at the Grand Canyon Railway, is, believe it or not, the GRAND CANYON!

Railfans aside, that's what most of the patrons are there to see, the canyon. This is a tourist attraction, pure and simple, not a museum or historical society hoping to preserve the spirit of the Santa Fe.

I don't like that answer, being a true steam fan, but I have to admit it's accurate.
