Support/Opposition for High Speed Rail

I see that TRAC President Richard Tolmach has signed the ballot arguement against prop 1A - HSR. He's list as president of the California Rail Foundation.

I tried calling the TRAC office in Sacramento, but didn't get a call back. Does anyone know if TRAC is supporting or opposing pro 1A?

For that matter that about NARP, Railpac or the Transit Coalition in LA?

I must say that I am disappointed in Tolmach. He joint the Howard Jarvis folks and Senator McClintock, both longtime bashers of passenger rail.

The argument. is clearly anti-rail and for TRAC and or Tolmach to join those two is bad news.
