And how is Reason Foundation connected to the No on
Measure Q campaign?
Check the facts: FPPC reports from 2006 and one filed by both sides
in June. You can see who's funding both sides. On the No side
is hardly any funding or funders because the No on Measure Q
campaign didn't begin by filing deadline. They live on small
donations and will use people power to get the message out.
By June the Yes on Measure Q had collected almost $150,000.
And who gave the most? special interests: developers,
construction firms, engineering firms, basic materials
manufacturers.
Cynthia Murray is expected to raise $500,000 or so by Nov.
She ain't getting it from railfans. It's from special interests.
So, again, where do you come off making such unfounded claims
about the No on Measure Q campaign, while those supporting
Measure Q clearly are special interests that gain
economically from the rail plan?
