It is possible that the Caltrain electrification will shortly influence the next Bay crossing away from more execrable BART. The new Stadler equipment will make BART beercan cattlecars look totally ghetto. MTC-BART, Heminger, Kopp and SPUR etc. will be so pi**ed they could not stop it.

Caltrain still has too much onboard payroll but maybe they can transform those conductors into quasi police. BART is going to have to add on a lot more cops; driverless perhaps would be offset with and by more security personnel.
