I think if the local press clued the public into the fact that coal trains run through their fair cities, there'd be a certain faction who would would feel obligated to protest and form human chains across the track, or worse. The irony would be that these protesters in many cases here in the Northwest are living in a community that gets its electricity from a coal-fired plant, or at the very least, a hydroelectric dam.
