I stayed at the KRI once back in the early '90s. Was dark by the time we checked in, so I can't tell you much about the view of the SI, but the river was indeed right off the back deck. Yeah, BNSF right out the front door. With their casino running into the night, it might not be the quietest place in town for a good night's sleep. My overnight stays in that area are always in a sleeping bag east of town, high up along the SI.
