True. Didn't the original air bags on the Pullman Superliner I's Amtrak ordered exploded because of how much they bounced on horrible 70's track, including the shitty maintenance performed on many Class 1's, including Penn Central?
Maybe the Canucks have good track and the Stadler observation cara would last longer.
BTW, why did Rocky Mountaineer choose to replace their observation cars built from SP Gallery cars used on the Peninsula commute? Those conversions are only 25 years old...
Anyone think these new Stadler babies would ride better and have more amenities? Easier maintenance?
Surely, Caltrans and IDOT should call Stadler, after Nippon was an epic fail for their intercity bilevels...
