Re: Rail safety bill headed to White House

Too bad we have to have such tragedies to get us off the dime. The President has said he will veto the bill. It has votes to be overridden on that veto by the Congress. If we can afford hundreds of billions for bailouts, we can afford a few billion for safer and better rail service.
