Does the San Francisco Belt (nee State Belt) even still exist north of the channel? Certainly, the tracks on the 3rd Street bridge have gone to trolley. I thought all the tracks along the Embarcadero were taken up and, after various rearrangements, became the trolley line to Fisherman's Wharf? Any working pieces that are left must be south of Mission Bay where there are still a couple of occasionally working piers.
