Quite frankly, I've never heard nor noticed the left (in this country) monkeying with 1A rights. However, for the last two years, freedom of the press has been under constant attack by the Great Orange Cheeto, the Govmint Himself, who the last time I checked was with the GOP (they're still the "right", aren't they?).

As for 2A, I firmly believe that if guns are outlawed, only the Govmint will have guns. In 1919 the Supreme Court ruled that freedom of speech does not include the right to yell "fire" in a crowded theater, so it becomes a question of when the right to bear arms becomes similarly abused. How do you blow the whistle on these nutcases? If you don't agree with any of this, go to Sandy Hook, the synagogue in Chicago, Las Vegas, that bar in LA, etc. and speak with those folks.
