In Switzerland, it is more the Bombardier TRAXX with Last Mile Diesel, which is known.
Kind of famous is the first one getting certified for Switzerland, the Rem 487 001 from Swiss Rail Traffic (a rental locomotive operator), which, because of its yellow/white/black livery got nicknamed "Biene Maja".
This locomotive is a regular for sugar beet trains, where, similar to the container terminal operations, non-electrified tracks must be used to load the beets.
