I'll be skipping the 4014 run along with the festivities in Ogden.

I've seen several of the remaining Big Boy locomotives. I've also seen and ridden behind the 3985 which is only about 12 feet shorter in length than a Big Boy.

If the 4014 tours the system I will go out to see it, but for the first run coupled with a major event a bit too crowded, and too much of a madhouse, for my liking.

I wish everyone who does choose to go a safe and enjoyable journey and good weather for photography.
