The drawings and pics I got, showed a stopped train either on the main or pass. In the middle of these two was an x-over with hand throw switches. (Had to get permission to line them from the dispatcher.) The outside or the rail, the moving train was on, had no warning. They should have been at restricted speed.

Easy to get caught not using the rule that had caused other wrecks. I know, I was in one in 71. Four of us were (fired) and the rest got 60 days for doing the same thing. Too long to explain here but a young runner (me) and a young crew didn't help. The bill for the crane was over 30K, not to mention the engines and cars.
