I must disagree. First, I belong to both TRAC and Railpac (and NARP). And, based on my observations at various meetings, I would be there is well over 50-60% membership overlap. One thing that always comes at meetings is "why can't the groups merge or work together?" "Why the waste of time and money having 2 groups?"

The ones that "bicker" tend to be people like Rich Tolmach or Allan Miller are gone, or Rick Silver, who is not as abrasive but still seems to be in the center of all big fights.

two groups split our strenght and waste what little money we have.
