Hutchie, you poor deluded boy. You and I are the chumps that pay the taxes, that underwrite the federally subsidized flood insurance premiums, reimbursing private insurer's for insurance on those homes on Gulf barrier islands. And it's getting a lot more expensive, as hurricanes get stronger from more heat... Just ask the folks in Houston, and their insurer's, after Harvey went from a Cat 1 to Cat 5 in about 48 hours...
I wish we would severely limit these flood insurance taxpayer funded subsidies. Then no bank in their right mind would offer loans to build luxury homes on a lot of these Gulf barrier islands... It's "Your Tax Dollars at Work" Hutch....

This has also affected rail service. Do you remember when the hurricane stopped the through service on the Sunset along the gulf coast to Florida....and never restored?

Until now, that is.... When we've apparently decided let foreign ISIS terrorist's win too, by betraying and murdering our Kurdish allies....
