Frontier is nothing more than a minor switching/ car storage outfit. Most of the trackage they lease is marketed to the owner as carloads her there and everywhere. But, when push comes to shove, they use it for car storage.
If one follows their tracks, (bad pun) you will find people like Lake County who terminated their lease for not even remotely following the agreement, they have left a trail of tears wherever they go.
Many of their previous lessors have figured out that if the track is to be used for car storage, why not do it themselves and cut out the middle man. Right now the Port of Royal Slope is examining that process.
