Kasgro built for Westinghouse a "bigger better" Schnabel car to replace the original one built by Krupp in the late 70's. It never hauled a load due to multiple issues. On it's return from South Carolina to Kasgro in New Castle PA,(June 22, 2014) the arms fell off in North Carolina. [
www.youtube.com] The original Krupp Schnabel car is the only one operational and the one shown in the current video in AZ. The Krupp markings started out as CEBX 800 then WECX 800 now KRL 3600. All are the same car. The "new" Kasgro built car was marked WECX 801. It is said, and I do not know this for a fact, that the original "new" car (WECX 801) has been repaired and marked KRL 3601.
