BOB2 - Taylor Yard Bridge

Thanks for reminding me. In the 1960's I worked summers in the radio shop and walked over that bridge to get to work. I lived in the Glendale YMCA and took the bus to the end of the bridge, which was conveniently a zone boundary. $14.25 a week in the "Y" and 2 dollars a day for meals. I came across this on my old tax forms as it was considered an "out of town job assignment". My main employment was being a student. That made food and housing deductions.

They plugged that student loophole a few years later but it kept me from having to pay taxes at a time when I needed every penny.
