Since when have our emotions ever proved to be a great guide to finding wisdom?
"When I was a child, I believed childish things...."
The emotions may be real, but they're still no excuse for "burning down the house", to teach ourselves a "lesson"....
Or, like vot9ng to pay millions in additional interest on SMART's current debt structure, when it could be refinanced saving taxpayers millions every year, to teach ourselves a "lesson" in "accountability"?

Like maybe, not being able to control my emotions and behave responsibly, regardless of how I may "feel", even about some of the stupidity we too often witness....? Because, (and maybe it's just me again???), I've never found anything stupid that has ever been fixed, by more stupid.....
I've been a critic of the way SMART's been planned, managed, built and/or operated, so I am all for a change at SMART, and maybe this will be a catalyst for such changes. But, looking after our adult self interest, may just require that we might have to occasionally suppress our more irrational emotional impulses, and to use cold rational logic and good sense, instead...
