In 2000, the City of Boise acquired slightly less than 20 miles of R-O-W, ending about 5 miles short of the junction with the main line at Orchard, and MPI used part of it for testing.

As far as I know, the line is still somewhat intact, but has areas of wildfire and washout damage.
