Allow law enforcement to carry RR radios

You would think the Railroads would work with local law enforcement, for each town, city and county they pass through, give them some basic training on railroad slang and allow them to carry VHF radios
How many law enforcement people are railfans?
How many times has law enforcement seen something or shown up to a car on the tracks and if they had a radio could warn aproaching trains or the dispatchers on empending danger
Law enforcement of all people would be the best ones to be alloud to carry radios
Could save lives and lots of money!
