Have you pricedanywhere in the valley to LA or SF? Not every person boarding a passenger train is a terminal to terminal passenger. And of course, this message board is not a pro-airline place last I knew. Some of us actually dislike air travel. So as a single voter/taxpayer, I remain in favor of CAHSR even though as with almost ANY Public PROJECT it is riddled with corruption, grossly over pricedand, and not the best routingfeasible.
BTW as the ocean, and certainly FBay rise frommelting icebergs/glaciers,we may well see some of SFO and OAK underwater...(and the former SPalong the Bay_
