While trying to find more info about the photos that were linked in this thread -- by SP 0-6-0 on 10-18-2020 - 19:57 [link], and by 1953JACKPE on 10-19-2020 - 09:44 [link] -- Google showed me a link to the June 1946 issue of Pacific Electric Magazine [link to pdf], whose cover article is about PE's Butte Street yard, which BOB2 mentioned here [link], and has also told us about in other AP posts [butte street bob2] [www.altamontpress.com]. The magazine provided some insight into what working at a large company might be like at a time before I first rode public transit on my own.

Searching, I found other issues available via [pacific electric magazine] [www.google.com].
