Per Richard Anderson, Amtrak no longer operates chartered trains. I'm sure that's what all the hoopla is about. It looks goofy when the CEO of Amtrak (even a past one) says there are to be no more chartered trains, and then Joe Biden comes along and they run a chartered train for him. Yes, that DOES sound like the "special treatment" that the Republicans were complaining about.
His son Hunter used to be on the Amtrak Board of Directors. I will wager that coke was being served in the cafe car, but not necessarily the type with carbonated bubbles! Look out for those crack pipes stashed under the seat cushions!
Sleepy Joe probably would have done better approaching CSX or NS and seeing if he could have chartered some of their office car equipment and not even have gotten Amtrak involved.
But we have to understand that it IS Joe Biden we are talking about here. And get a load of this video that has some good train content!
