Dr. the map confirms what you're saying. I mentioned the map just because it has ATSF-only and SP-ATSF track marked on it, and marked well, in my opinion.

Happened to find a picture of 26th and Wood St. crossbuck marked "Joint SP-ATSF" from 1940s. Interesting. And next to it was a large manually operated signal about 16 feet tall.

But this is sort of offtopic. The bottom line is, from about 1965 onward did the SP switch the lead that crossed Wood and went down 26th St. and down to Pac Pipe?
