SN 652 is more historic than 653 or 654 IMHO ... 652 was the lead locomotive that pulled the very LAST freight train out of the 40th & Shafter Yard in Oakland and ran thru the Redwood Peak Tunnel into Contra Costa County...

Dr. Zarkoff needs to re-phrase his statement.. He was NOT the engineer on that historic trip !!
