Are there any readers who don't know the whereabouts of Cowtown? Or the story behind the name?

GOOGLE will identify the town. But the history of the name is in 1800s US history. Remember??

When you hear or read the name Cowtown, does a certain railroad come to mind?
Yes, the name is heard occasionally on company radio conversations. Recorded?

Jim Wrinn and associates collect railroad nicknames. For in-house use, very necessary.
Publication of the list? maybe
