I hate to spout silly ideas but what's it going to cost to get to the point where people might actually ride? What's the Fresno to Wasco ridership going to be? I'm still mumbling over how many LA people really want to ride to the Bay area? And vice versa? No matter when the thing gets done it's still going to be cheaper to either fly or video conference your trans-state needs, not to mention faster! Is there any sense to all this?
