Ok I am not in the railroad business. However, could some one please tell how much it cost to run a train, with two crew for 8 hours, plus insurance and what ever it costs? I do not understand why smaller railroads are not expanding, offering services lower than the class ones. I know the economy is tanking, but surely there is work out there.
