I'm OK with CN taking over KCS, but I'd have NS get full control of Meridian-DFW. How about a resurrected GM&O running in Missisippi and Tennessee then?
Moving forward, if CP must die, it might make sense for BNSF to take over the MILW (with IAIS getting the line to KC), while UP would merge SOO and make CP a subsidiary. That would then force BNSF and CN back together.
