I think it was Krebs who said BNSF chose to move from HQ from St. Paul to Ft. Worth for convenience. From Ft. Worth, a BNSF officer could fly to any city in the country, have a business meeting with a client, and fly back the same day. Plus I guess Omaha was already taken, so Texas it is.
