I don't suppose plans for 4 GW from New Mexico (1st gig planned for this winter), 3 gigs from the Northwest, several gigs from Wyoming, several planned solar-battery facilities in Arizona and Nevada and 4 gigs from the Pacific Ocean will have much impact.
Then there's Moss Landing like batteries. Granted there are still issues with batteries over-heating, but as the technology matures, there will be a lot more facilities like it coming online as well.
There is also Terrapower and Nuscales reactors. They hold much promise and should be hitting the market in a few years.
