Oh, did you miss me?
I had some other things to do....
YOu and Mouse have been very busy, though...
Now, if that had been this years headline, you'd actualoy be right about the availability of peak hydro through out the western grid. The drought is real. And, if the last 30 years are the new normal, we're gonna need those windmills, and a lot more drip irrigation.
But, even this year, no serious large scale non fire related blackout/brownouts have occured from lack of grid capacity, that I've heard of. And, maybe that is partially because enough folks are cutting just a little, and some luck with cool weather.
Now, that you've had your fix of me, you can pronounce on all of these evils on AP in your many alter egos, you can even go poke a hole in Shasta Dam for the Delta Smelt, and hump some of those trees, if that's your thing.... You like to troll trains sites and whine, and I like trains, we're just different that way.
I suspect that there will be plenty of power for Caltrain.... After that, we'll just have to muddle through... I have more faith in our science and technology, so I'm not as worried as you would have us believe you are Sweetpea...
Meanwhile, your other "kindred spirit"/"alter ego", Mouse, can rant away about those evil dastardly windmils in France....
Why I'll bet that those evil windmills are in cahoots with that evil French TGV Thomas?too...?
