Great EUKA stories! I do recall watching #70 stall out several times at Glendale just trying to get a few empty flatcars through the muck and bark out to Korbel. One night on the way home from work I came upon 70 and two loads derailed in the snow just west of Blue Lake. And then there were those re-railing exercises using tie plates and any nearby garbage that would support the flange over the rail.
