Probably some speed freaks looking for metal to recycle, like the rash of copper thefts that have been plaguing the country. Don't they know the price of copper is down 75% from its high?
I hope its not some unscrupulous railfans trying to add to their collection, thus ruining it for the rest of us. Anyway, I agree. Whoever did this needs to be strung up for all to see.
