There was The Pioneer and the Desert Wind. And then Frank Church and Howard Cannon retired and died. Amtrak doesn't run trains for the traveling public. Amtrak runs trains for influential politicians, and today's generation of Congressman barely knows what Amtrak is. Ilhan Omar probably thinks Amtrak is a title insurance company.

I even arranged for a Turbo Train to serve my district.
