Line is still intact and has had minimal maintenance in recent years to keep it in good enough shape for storage cars. The City of Boise owns the line from just east of the city to just short of Orchard. They bought it to preserve it for future rail service. The City of Boise has made millions storing cars on the line over the last 10 years.
